Job Information:

Glitch Productions is seeking an experienced Asset Production Manager to lead our asset creation process. In this role, you will oversee the asset production pipeline from design through to modelling and surfacing, manage the asset team, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality 3D models, textures, and environments. You will collaborate closely with directors, artists, and technical teams to maintain our creative vision while optimizing workflow efficiency.

Your duties will include:​

• Strategise, plan and manage the schedules of the asset & environment department to ensure production is able to deliver on schedule.

• Manage and coordinate the asset production pipeline from concept to delivery.

• Supervise and collaborate with team leads and production coordinators to define asset requirements and make production decisions based on their reports.

• Strong people management and communication skills

• Identifying and resolving any potential production issues that may arise.

• Monitor asset quality, ensuring adherence to project specifications and artistic standards.

• Facilitate communication between departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.

• Oversee the training and development of asset team members, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

• Organising Director review tasks alongside other departments to ensure your department receives proper feedback

• Organize team members and use critical problem solving skills to prevent disruptions to workflow.

• Plan effective allocation of resources to projects to stick to pre-approved production budgets and timelines.

• Track project progress and report on status, risks, and challenges to senior management.

• Coordinating the needs and resources of the production team with external departments, such as marketing and merchandise.

• Help with the introduction and communication of new tools and pipelines to increase the efficiency of the production team, and then either executing or directing the execution of those tools/pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in asset production management within the animation or gaming industry.

• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and environment creation processes.

• Understanding of industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Unreal Engine, ZBrush, Substance Painter).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. For this role we are looking for confidence, the ability to make key decisions on the fly, and a candidate with strong people skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong stakeholder management and time management skills.

• An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
