Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 13 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Role Information:
Glitch Productions is looking for a highly skilled, sales-oriented Licensing Sales Manager who is passionate about the animation and entertainment industry, and skilled in securing high-value licensing deals. This role will focus on driving revenue growth and brand recognition by expanding our licensing portfolio across the US, LatAm and Asian markets. You will build strong business relationships with partners, affiliates and key industry players while securing collaboration opportunities with other brands and franchises aligned with our own.
As a sales-driven leader, you will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, negotiating high-impact licensing agreements, and working closely with internal teams to maximise the profitability and ubiquity of licensed products. You will set revenue targets, manage key accounts and expand licensing opportunities across multiple categories and territories.

Your duties will include:

Drive revenue growth by identifying, securing and negotiating licensing deals with top-tier partners aligned with the Glitch brand.

Develop and execute a sales-driven licensing strategy, setting annual targets and growth objectives.

Build and manage a strong pipeline of licensing opportunities across relevant product categories and markets.

Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, ensuring favourable commercial terms and long term partnerships.

Ensure brand integrity by seeking out and securing collaborations with brands and franchises aligned with our own.

Manage relationships with overseas partners to encourage the global proliferation of our characters and shows.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and category expansion opportunities.

Collaborate with internal marketing, merchandise and brand teams to ensure licensing aligns with Glitch’s revenue goals and brand positioning.

Manage key licensing accounts, ensuring strong partner relationships, business planning and contract renewals.

Track licensing performance metrics, including revenue, deal volume and category penetration.

Partner with marketing and distribution teams to maximise visibility and retail success of licensed products.

Attend industry events, networking events, and licensing expos to develop new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, logistics, marketing, project management or similar.

Proven experience in licensing sales, business development or account management, preferably within the entertainment, animation, toy, board game, or gaming industries.

Strong track record in closing licensing deals and negotiating high-value contracts.

Ability to analyse market trends and drive commercial growth.

Experience in managing key accounts, setting sales targets, and achieving revenue goals.

Exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills with the ability to influence partners.

Understanding of licensing business models, royalty structures, and category management.

Cultural sensitivity and insight into diverse markets across Asia and/or LatAm.
Bonus Skills:

Artistic/Creative background.

Business fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, or Portuguese.

Familiarity with apparel, toys, and/or accessories and their production.
