About the show

Set in a cyberpunk future where competitive gaming and e-sports are the center of culture, business, and technology, cybernetically enhanced gamers called "Meta Runners" go head to head in high stakes gaming competitions. But beneath the neon lights and cheering crowds, shadowy megacorporations and criminal gangs vie with each for control of everything.

Meta Runner was the first fully animated series by Glitch Productions, created by the company's founders: Kevin and Luke Lerdwichagul. Spanning 3 seasons and 28 episodes, the series is a love letter to gaming and garnered a dedicated cult fanbase along with the support of the Australian government's art funding body: Screen Australia.
